The SRM:Manager organizes and executes the communication between the external systems and the internal subsystems.

SRM:Manager receives data from the mill operation system and the measuring systems, visualises the data in figures and graphs on the operator interface, initializes calculations, and sends data to the motor control system via the atrac® real-time module. SRM:Manager monitors and stores all communication data and makes them accessible with browser tools. Warnings and error messages are displayed to advice the operator in case of problems. The mill operator changes settings and operating modes on the interface of SRM:Manager.
